Please read the user guide prior to using the Medesto Dispenser & Medesto App
The Medesto Dispenser intelligently monitors doses taken and missed and sends that data directly to the Medesto App to keep you on track.
The Medesto Connect can support various medication routines. The pharmacy will sticker a NFC TAG to your medications like a pill bottle or injectable pen, to simply touch the smart NFC TAG to the Medesto Connect at time of medication use. This will log the time taken and send that data directly to the Medesto App and the pharmacy care team to ensure your on track with your scheduled medications.
The Medesto Connect is cellular enabled and sends scheduled reminders with visual and audio notifications.
The Medesto-Go can support various medication routines. The pharmacy will fill your medications into the Medesto-Pod, stick the Medesto-Go onto the pod to keep your medications with you at all times, at home and on the go. Medesto-Go will flash lights and play sounds to remind you of a scheduled event and it will log the time taken each pod cell and then it will send that data directly to the Medesto App and the pharmacy care team to ensure your on track with your scheduled medications.

A glowing yellow Dispense Button represents a lockout. A lockout happens when a user tries to dispense a second daily serving and ensures that users do not take more than the prescribed dosage.

If the Dispense Button has no color, an update is occurring. Please wait 5-10 minutes and try dispensing again with the following instructions:
- Lift and close the clear lid to reset the pod.
- Ensure the cup is properly placed.
- Once the Dispense Button turns green, you may dispense at your next scheduled dosing time.
A glowing light blue Dispense button indicates that your medication cup has been removed from the cup area.

The medication dispenser is not certified as child safe and should be kept out of the reach of children.

Yes, your Medesto Dispenser will automatically update to the latest firmware if it is connected to WiFi.
To connect your Medesto Dispenser to WiFi, download the Medesto App and connect your dispenser.
Firmware updates only occur after a dispense is completed. During the update, your dispenser may be unusable for a few minutes.
If you do not have access to a 2.4Ghz WiFi and use an ethernet (dial-up) for Internet access, please contact of Tech Care Team at 844.698.2533.
Information is only shared with those you choose to share with, like your physician or caregiver.
Pills come in all shapes and sizes and may become lodged inside of a pod cell during evacuation.
In the event that not all pills have been dispensed, simply remove the pod and dislodge the jammed cell.
If your Medesto Dispenser arrives to you damaged, please fill out the replacement form and include photo examples.
In the event you are without a dispenser, your medication can be manually accessed by puncturing the foil pod cell to receive your daily medication(s).

Alternatively, users can download using their mobile smart device.
Android Users can access the Medesto App via the Google Play Store by searching MEDESTO.
iPhone Users can access the Medesto App via the Apple App Store by searching MEDESTO.
Once here, the patient can follow the instructions on screen to share a unique 8 digit code with your caregivers. Alternatively a caregiver can ask a patient for these 8 digit code from the caregiver settings screen.
Once set up the caregiver will be able to see historical device readings, and overall adherence.

The Medesto App helps you manage your medications from pods or bottles with daily reminders and dose tracking.
The Medesto App will send reminders for scheduled medication dispensing and tracks previous dispenses.
